Men of Strength (MOS) - Community Program For Seniors - FBCG
Men of Strength is an organization of men that is dedicated to providing support and a helping hand to seniors and widows in the community who need emergency or safety services in the home. Volunteers work in teams of four and go out to provide small nonprofessional services to seniors once the work has been inspected and approved.
The men not only make the need repairs to the home, but they do safety check on things such as exterior doors, smoke alarms, water heaters, windows etc. This is to provide the seniors with a since of comfort and safety.
Air for the Elderly Program
On June 20, 2015, MOS will hold its first annual "Air for the Elderly Program" where we will deliver and in most cases deliver brand new air conditioner units to seniors who are faced with little to no air resource during the extreme hot months in July and August. We are blessed and thankful for the support of the Haier Corporation and LG Electronics for donating 84 brand new window units that will be given to the seniors free of charge.
